Tea
Tea is a beverage that is made by steeping in the young leaves and leaf buds of the tea plant, Camellia sinensis, in boiled water. Two variations of tea are used in the production of tea, the small leaved China plant and the large leaved Assam plant. Crosses of these two variations are also grown throughout the world in tea growing regions.
The tea leaves may be fermented or left unfermented in order to produce different types of teas, namely - black tea, oolong tea, yellow tea, green tea, and white tea. Herbal teas are also available.
